The killing of scientist Leonardo Co by government troops in the middle of a forest becomes a national tragedy in 2010. Amidst the backdrop of human rights investigations unravels the story of the difficult yet beautiful life of a scientist possessed by a magnificent passion for plant life.
A living repository of knowledge about all of known Philippine flora, he is likened to a rarespecies that exists only once in a hundred years. His demise is an irreplaceable loss but the fallen hero lives on through the thousands of seeds he scattered all over thecountry.
