The documentary defines torture according to the UN international conventions and the laws of the Philippines. It also presents a concrete and disturbing description by presenting real life cases of torture and its effects and implications to personal and social reality
Cases of victims of torture under the Marcos regime representing women, indigenous peoples, peasants and workers are presented with voices from the religious, human rights lawyers and human rights advocates.
